Their attorneys say Baylor University should also get some of the blame.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court, Western Division in Austin, is connected to the deadly shooting at Waco's Twin Peaks restaurant two years ago.

It accuses the defendants of falsely imprisoning  Jim Harris, Bonar Crump, Junior, Juan Garcia, and Drew King, impounding their vehicles, and libeling them.

The plaintiffs say that caused them economic, physical, and mental damages.

According to the lawsuit, the men are members of the Grim Guardian Motorcycle Club, and that they had nothing to do with the fighting between the Bandidos and Cossacks.

The men say that at one point three of them hid behind a vehicle to avoid the gunfire with a law-enforcement officer, who determined they were not a threat.

The suit also includes a glimpse into Waco's history, stating that the religious foundation of Baylor University created a dangerous atmosphere for bikers.
